Definition

Polymicrobial necrotizing fasciitis perianal, perineal or genital areas.

Cause

Perianal abscess
Hidradenitis suppurativa
Vulvar abscess
Local infections
Poor perianal hygiene
Genital piercings

Main causes:

Diabetes
Obesity
HIV

Signs and symptoms

Patients experience pain in the genital / perianal, itching, fever, local swelling. Skin changes occur such as: the appearance of dark-red areas, appearance of vesicles or necrosis. The skin can eliminate secretions.
