Definition

Degenerative disease characterized by deterioration of nerve cells in the brain.


Cause


Signs and symptoms

Clinical manifestations appear after the age of 30-40. Patients have involuntary movements of the hands and feet and may have difficulty in speech.
Cognitive disorders appear such as disorders of thought processes or memory, which affects lives through the feeding disorders, performance of daily activities, etc.
Patients experience depression accompanied by behavioral disorders, inability to correlate hands and feet movements, tremor, chronic fatigue and suicidal thoughts.
The disease progresses to total dementia.
