Definition

Signs and symptoms
The disease is asymptomatic in most patients with a healthy immune system. Swollen lymph nodes is the main sign together with fatigue, dry throat, skin rash, fever and muscle pain.
In case eyes are affected, patients have decreased visual acuity, they may feel the inconvenience of light or eye redness.
Hygienic-dietary rules
- Washing hands after playing with pets, especially with cats
- Correct thermal cooking of the meat
- Avoid the contact of pregnant women with cats
