TUBERCULOSIS
Definition
It represents Koch bacillus infection or tuberculosis complex BK. In 70% of cases it occurs at this level. It is a disease treatable by administration of various antibiotics for an average period of 6 months. Among the locations we can find ganglionic tuberculosis, hepatosplenic tuberculosis, renal tuberculosis, urogenital or bone tuberculosis.

Signs and symptoms
Pulmonary tuberculosis is shown by bad mood, feeling feverish, coughing and sputum with traces of blood and heavy sweating at night.
Hygienic-dietary rules
- Patients should cover mouth when coughing or sneezing to prevent contamination of others
- Staff in the health facilities where there are patients with tuberculosis must wear protective masks
- Avoiding alcoholic beverages
- Smoking is not allowed
