Definition

Abdominal pain occurring after meals caused by decreased blood flow to the mesenteric vessels.



Cause


Signs and symptoms

Abdominal pains as cramps are characteristic which occur brutally in 10-20 minutes after dining and lasts several hours. Afterwards, the pain weakens in intensity until it disappears .
Patients with this suffering usually lose weight.
At first pains occur only in the case of large amounts of food to meals but over time they occur regardless of the amount of food ingested.
